Quick Summary
The Chinese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer XPENG is expanding its operations into Europe, seeking broader markets for its vehicles like the X9 SUV, G9 fastback, and G6 and P7 sedans, all featuring advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) technology and in-car intelligent operating systems. To support that move, XPENG today said it will use the Dutch supply chain software vendor Vinturas to provide visibility and data management services across XPENG’s European finished-vehicle supply chain, from factory to dealer. With an R&D center in California and two auto factories in Guangdong province, China, XPENG has been listed for years as a mainstream automaker based on quality and market share, according to rankings from firms like ABI Research. Its continued expansion follows the fast growth of other Chinese EV makers such as BYD, which in 2025 surpassed U.S. EV company Tesla in vehicle sales. “XPENG is on a mission to become the world’s leading AI-driven mobility technology company, and as we accelerate our expansion across Europe, we need partners who can match our ambition,” Sándor Gacsó, Head of Logistics - Europe at XPENG, said in a release. “Some of our biggest challenges have been securing full visibility of our finished vehicles as they move through Europe and efficiently onboarding the many logistics partners involved. Vinturas can provide the secure digital backbone that enables us to meet these needs and scale quickly and efficiently as demand grows.”
